Awsten Knight's Lookbook

Hi, I'm Alexis! I'm a big fan of Waterparks - please be aware this Lookbook is not affiliated with Awsten or Waterparks in any way. I think fashion is a fascinating way to express oneself I love to see the pieces he wears, both in his personal life & professional appearances. As of August 2023, I am no longer posting Awsten's older clothes as I have either found it or was completely unsuccessful.Twitter, Tumblr, & Instagram pages are linked above, all of which have DMs open. If you're a nerd like me, the Tumblr is designed to be more of the archive space with detailed tagging systems so you can hopefully find what you're looking for.Thank you for visiting the Lookbook!

FAQ

What makes an item vintage?
A vintage item is generally considered to be from between 20-100 years ago. So, yes, unfortunately the 2000s are vintage. 100+ years ago would qualify an item as antique.
What do you mean by "similar"? Why not the exact piece?
I will describe an item as similar if I am unable to find the exact piece. Fashion archives, even among the major houses, are not very well kept. So for example sometimes Awsten will have a shirt in white and I can only find a photo of it in black. That would count as being similar.
What do you mean by generic?
Generic means I cannot source the exact brand. These items are generally mass produced by fast fashion companies or other big box stores/online retailers and it would be impossible to tell which one he has as they all produce & sell the same item. I will show a similar item from one store but he could have bought it from another.
Why do you only link to items sometimes?
I generally will only link to an item if it is currently for sale from the original brand. There are a few exceptions where I feel it is prudent to link to the item regardless, but really that is just a gut feeling lol. I will never link to sites like eBay/Depop/Grailed/etc, and I do not make any money off of any links being provided.
Why is almost everything Awsten wears no longer for sale?
To be a little fair to Awsten, I am very late to the game in cataloguing his wardrobe. Outside of his actual vintage items, most of the stuff he wears was current & available for purchase when he first wore it.
